Awareness
Try and be in the present and acknowledge your emotions — positive or negative — and allow them to flow.

We dwell on the past and we worry about the future, but what about today and now? What do we notice? How can we ground ourselves? What can we do to make today a good day?

If something has already happened, let it go — we cannot go back and change things. Focus on the next steps instead. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. How can we move on from our mistakes?

Some things are not in our control, and we have to accept that. What good will it do if you keep giving yourself a hard time? Mental clutter weighs heavily on our hearts, too.

Try and be present as much as you can in daily activities such as walking to work, walking the dog, watching the sky, or enjoying your cup of tea/coffee. Try yoga, meditation, mindful colouring. Stretch as soon as you get up in the morning, be aware of how your body feels, take a few deep breaths and let’s do this!
