Give

Give to others, or carry out actions that will benefit others.

  • If you are good at arts and crafts, make cards you can gift to people, or gift a painting or collage. Write a poem for someone, or a thank you note.

  • Give positive feedback to a local business if you recently had a positive experience with them.

  • Give your time to volunteering if you have it — it’s a great opportunity to meet other people and develop a routine.

  • Give a compliment: if you see something you admire, tell the other person about it and make their day!

  • Give someone a hug: whether they need it or not, it has been proven that hugs lower stress and make people happier. You can also give yourself a hug even if it feels silly, but who cares — it works the same way!

  • Give a smile, it’s free and contagious!
