Be excited for today

We dwell on the past and worry about the future, but what about today?

  • It is a new day! Wake up, have a little one-minute stretch from head to toe, and get excited for the new day.
  • Think about what today might bring, and tell yourself you will be ready for it.
  • What happened yesterday cannot be changed, and you do not know what tomorrow will bring. Try and make today a good day.
  • We are given the chance to have new experiences — embrace and appreciate them.
  • Buddha had a saying: “The problem is, you think you have time!” Think about what matters most to you right now, and make that the centre of today.
  • Life is short and precious — we collect memories along the way, and most of them are happy ones. Be more present and keep making memories.
